THE OVERHYPED CURSES ON KARNA -

Everything related to our lordy is overglorified and overhyped.His weapons are over glorified,his bow is over glorified  His Armour/Rings are over glorified  His chariot is over glorified  Even his so called charity is over glorified  And so are the curses on Karna over glorified.
This thread will expose the curses on Karna.

Karna had got two curses,first by a Brahmin that his chariot wheel would sink in the most important battle of his life and he will die in a distressful situation,second curse by Lord Parshuram that he will forget Brahmastra when his death will be near and when he will be against his rival in the most important battle of his life.Some hijacked fans of Karna created a third curse of Bhoomi devi on Karna which is not mentioned in Mahabharat.

PS: THESE CURSES NEVER AFFECTED KARNA IN ANY BATTLE OF HIS LIFE,EXCEPT HIS LAST BATTLE AGAINST ARJUNA.

PART 1) MISCONCEPTION: KARNA WAS UNABLE TO USE BRAHMASTRA DUE TO PARSHURAM'S CURSE -

The Chapter 90 of Karna Parva mentions Karna forgetting the Brahmastra due to curse of Lord Parshuram -

Narrative:

Indeed, O foremost of men, when the hour of Karna's death came, the high brahmastra that the illustrious Bhargava had imparted unto him, escaped from his memory.

Here it's clear that Karna forgot Brahmastra only due to Parshuram's curse,no reason to believe otherwise.

But after this incident,we see that Karna is successful in invoking Brahmastra,not just ONCE,but TWICE.

>> First time Karna invokes Brahmastra,even after forgetting it due to Parshuram's curse -

Narrative:

Trembling at the shock, Karna then displayed his activity to the utmost of his power. Steadying himself by a powerful effort he invoked the brahmastra.

>> Again,in the very next chapter,we see Karna invoking Brahmastra

Narrative:

Beholding it, Karna, invoking the brahmastra, showered his shafts upon Dhananjaya, and once more made an effort to extricate his car. Partha also, by the aid of the brahmastra, poured arrowy downpours upon Karna. Baffling with his own weapon the weapon of his foe, the son of Pandu continued to strike him.

SO DUE TO SOME UNKNOWN REASONS,KARNA WAS ABLE TO INVOKE BRAHMASTRA NOT JUST ONCE BUT TWICE,EVEN AFTER BEING CURSED BY LORD PARSHURAM.

PART 2) HOW THE BRAHMIN'S CURSE SAVED KARNA FROM ARJUN.

In section 90 of Karna Parva,we read Krishna telling Arjuna that you have played with Karna a lot,given him enough chance,now use a superior weapon and slay him quickly without wasting anymore time,we are getting late.

On this,Arjun invokes the mighty Raudra weapon of Mahadeva,using which he slayed the Kalakeyas and destroyed the entire Hiranyapura city in just one shot.This would have ended Karna then and there.

But as soon as Arjuna was going to shoot this Mahadev's weapon,Karna's chariot wheel sank and Arjun took back this weapon.So the curse saved him from Raudra weapon.

Narrative:

Then Dhananjaya, filled with rage, inspiring with mantras another celestial weapons that looked like fire and that resembled the poison of the snake and that was as hard as the essence of adamant, and uniting the Raudra weapon with it, became desirous of shooting it at his foe.

>> Just at the same time,Karna's chariot wheel sank due to Brahmin's curse and Arjuna stopped -

Narrative:

At that time, O king, the earth swallowed up one of wheels of Karna's car. Quickly alighting then from his vehicle, he seized his sunken wheel with his two arms and endeavoured to lift it up with a great effort.

So in this way,Brahmin's curse saved our Lordy from getting killed by Raudra weapon.It gave lordy a few more moments to live and it gave his fans a few more propagandas to fabricate.

PART 3) WHO WAS THE REAL CAUSE OF THESE CURSES.

Blorndies always keep crying for the curses which Karna got,as if it was Arjuna who begged Parshuram and Brahmin to curse him.Who is the reason for these curses ? Well the reason is Karna himself.

>> PARSHURAM'S CURSE -

Karna deliberately lies about his caste to Parshuram and gets cursed -

Narrative(Karna lies about his caste) -

Approaching Rama, he bent his head unto him and said, 'I am a Brahmana of Bhrigu's race.'

Unto the cheerless and trembling Karna, prostrated with joined hands upon earth, that foremost one of Bhrigu's race, smiling though filled with wrath, answered, 'Since thou hast, from avarice of weapons, behaved here with falsehood, therefore, O wretch, this Brahma weapon shalt not dwell in thy remembrance

Karna's poor shot kills the calf of a Brahmin,as a result he gets cursed -

Narrative:

While thus employed, O Partha, he inadvertently slew, without witting it, the Homa cow of a certain utterer of Brahma who daily performed his Agnihotra rite.

Karna gets cursed for this -

Narrative:

Leave me, O vile man! As thou hast heedlessly slain this my cow, even so wilt thy foe cut off thy head while thou shalt be heedless!'
